Ski in Ski out

You can ski in and out of the apartment.  A short 50m walk up to the Duxeralm 4 seater lift connects to the 12/13 easy runs and fun off piste on the Gerlospatte.  At 1700m and part of a Schnee Winkel, the snow quality is phenomenal.  You can connect via cable car to the vast Zillertal Arena.  The next mountain is Koeningsleiten, and then onto the Isskogel directly in the Gerlos area, and then Zell am Ziller.  Your ski pas covers the ski bus home if you have skied too far in one day!

For those not so keen on downhill skiing there is a 5 km cross country loop accessible by foot from the apartment.  Snowshoeing, sledge riding, ice skating, or a cosy horse-drawn sleigh ride are all possible and can be organised and booked locally. 

There is a ski and boot room with heated racks downstairs with easy access out of the front door of the apartment building.

Ski hire is possible next door at the Inter Sport shop, and Ski School is within walking distance with excellent opportunities of beginners.
